EFECW creates working groups to allow space for women/members to explore issues between General Assemblies.

We currently have two working groups:

1. Constitution and Membership changes

   The working group is reflecting, discussing and making proposals for a revision / update of the constitution, based on feedback after the last General Assembly, calling for a constitution that will be more inclusive and contemporary. Some of the issues discussed:

   • Individual membership, young women, interns, etc.
   • Certain constitutional prerequisites to be implemented online
   • Fundraising strategy
   • Voting rights for different categories of members

   The working group presented their first reflections/proposals to the National Coordinators during the online meeting in May 2024. A document with draft constitutional changes is shared with National Coordinators to reflect upon and prepare for the next discussion to be organised online mid-2025.
