ROME www.RKnieuws.net  - Sister congregations from 5 continents have set up a network for the struggle against trafficking in human beings. Every year about 600.000 to 800.000 human beings become a victim of trafficking, especially women and children.

The sisters see 3 major causes: feminisation of poverty, commercialisation of sexuality and deeply rooted cultural practices which discriminate against women and children.
